This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.shopsweatshaper.com (the “Site”). The Site and the Sweat Shaper brand are owned and operated by ZoobZoob Retail LLC (“Sweat Shaper”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), which acquired the brand in 2023. Our sister brand Kewlioo (www.kewlioo.com) is operated by the same company under its own privacy policy. Each brand keeps its own marketing subscriber list, and signing up with one brand does not subscribe you to the other.
Information About You
We collect several types of information on our Site. We collect “Personal Information”, which generally speaking is information that can be used to identify you individually, such as your name and address. We also collect “Non-personal Information”, which is information about you that does not itself identify you individually. Examples of Non-personal Information include age range and gender. We also collect “Aggregate Information”, which is information about use of our site, such as pages visited on our Site. The information we collect depends on what services you use on our Site.
Customer Service Correspondance
We may collect information that identifies you personally when you submit comments, questions or suggestions to our Customer Service department.
Use of Your Personal and Non-Personal Information
We may use or disclose Personal Information we collect in the following circumstances:
Internal Analysis and Promotions
We may use information about you for our own internal statistical, design, operational purposes such as to estimate our audience size; measure aggregate traffic patterns; and understand demographic, customer interest, purchasing and other trends among our customers. We may also use your Personal Information for the marketing and/or promotion of our products or services. We may outsource these tasks to third parties on a confidential basis. If you receive a marketing email from Sweat Shaper and no longer wish to, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email (see “Email Communications” below).
Transaction Processing
We may use your Personal Information to create a convenient and easy-to-use shopping process that includes an online “shopping cart” that allows you to track selected products and proceed through purchase. We may share transactional information with entities as is necessary to process credit card payments or other purchasing or delivery systems.
Legal Requirement
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform with the law, respond to claims or comply with legal process served on our company or the Site; (b) protect and defend our rights or property, the Site, our employees, customers or the public.
Company Sale
If our company or a part of it is sold, merged, or reorganized, personal information may be transferred to the successor as part of that transaction. The successor will be bound by this Privacy Policy with respect to that information, and your rights under it are not affected.
Links to Other Sites
Please be aware that we provide links to third-party Web sites as a service to our customers, and that we are not responsible for the content or information collection practices of those pages. Please note that these Web sites’ privacy policies may differ from those of Sweat Shaper. We encourage you to review and understand their privacy practices before providing them with information.
Children
Our Site is a general audience site that is not designed nor intended to collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. To respect the privacy of children and to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, children under the age of 13 should not provide any Personal Information on this Site. We ask that parents supervise their children while online.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
How you get on our email list. We send marketing emails to people who ask for them: by entering an email address in a sign-up form on the Site (for example a pop-up or footer form), by agreeing to receive marketing at checkout, or by otherwise telling us they would like to hear from Sweat Shaper. We record the source and time of each sign-up. Buying from us does not by itself add you to our marketing list. We do not buy or rent email lists.
Marketing emails and service emails are different. Marketing emails include welcome messages, offers, product news, and reminders about items left in your cart or checkout. Service emails relate to an order or your account: order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, returns and exchanges, and replies to your questions. We send service emails to anyone who places an order, whether or not they subscribe to marketing.
How to stop marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Click it and we stop sending you marketing emails. You do not need to log in or give a reason, and the change takes effect within 10 business days at most, and usually right away. You can also email support@shopsweatshaper.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service emails about an order you have placed.
Who delivers our emails. We use email delivery providers (currently Klaviyo; we may also use Amazon Web Services and similar providers) to send our emails on our behalf. These providers process your email address and message-delivery data, such as whether an email was delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or reported as spam, so that we can deliver messages reliably, stop sending to addresses that bounce or complain, and understand which messages are useful. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Mobile Program
We use a text-messaging platform to send text messages, subject to the following terms. You opt in to text messages by agreeing to receive them at checkout, by subscribing through a sign-up form on the Site, or by texting a keyword to us. Simply entering your phone number to complete a purchase does not opt you in. When you opt in, you agree that we may send you text notifications about your order (including abandoned-cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To deliver messages, your phone number is passed to our text-messaging provider. Notwithstanding anything else in this policy, no mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent for text messaging are shared only with our messaging partners, for the purpose of operating our text-messaging program.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, by using the unsubscribe link in a message, or by any other reasonable means, such as emailing support@shopsweatshaper.com. We will honor your request within a reasonable time, not exceeding 10 business days. Text HELP to the number that messaged you for help, or contact us at support@shopsweatshaper.com.
Analytics and Third-party tools
We use analytics, testing, and advertising tools on the Site, including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, Blotout (server-side event tracking), Triple Whale (marketing analytics), Intelligems (price and page testing), and review tools (Judge.me, Stamped). These tools use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to understand which products and pages are popular, measure our advertising, and help us improve the Site; we also use this information for fraud and security purposes.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@shopsweatshaper.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. For access, correction, and deletion requests we may need to verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to opt out of the sharing of your information with third parties for targeted advertising; opt-out requests do not require identity verification. Contact us at the same address to exercise any of these rights, and if we decline a request you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above.
